  • We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days just recently. We took along our bicycles to go riding around the loops, and unless you're a seasoned bicyclist, the spots of hills that are steep, the kids won't enjoy that too much. Other than that, we went tent camping and had a blast. The site we stayed on wasn't real level, but we had loads of fun regardless. After looking around the area for tent camping sites, I'd say Codorus has got to be one of the best locations, as there is a ton of tree coverage, and I like setting up under trees. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area also.
  • Beautiful place. The campground is well equipped with big lots, so you can fit without problem two big tents per lot and still have extra space for BBQ or other stuff. The lake is a non-swimming lake, and that's really bad, they should prepare an area for swimming, since is very nice to have a bath in a lake, mostly during summer!
  • The pool is wonderfully beautiful, they did a fantastic job keeping the whole sourounding spectacular. The fee is not too bad, in state resident pays $7.00. While out of state pays $12.00, after 4pm a person will pay $4.00. huge numbers of peoples shows up on Saturdays, if u're not a fans with the crowd, I suggest sundays might be a better choice where the numbers a lil less. No regrets.
  • Although I did not stay / camp at this campground, I did explore the grounds for future camping. It is a large facility located in the Codorus state park. With so much nearby, this looks like a great place to visit. I will update / provide more information after I've actually camped in this park.
  • Camped here since 1975...great place! I love it my boys love it here.
