  • We stopped into his weekly event by chance in March. There were food trucks, and a few street musicians, and street vendors and shops were open with friendly (not pushy) staff. I loved the laid-back h...  more »

  • It's a good night out but nothing to get all excited about. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
  • Live music and great food make this a must stop in Kauai!
  • Best summed up by others as tiny town 60s USA mixed with Hawaiian culture and food. Fun place to get local food from food trucks and stroll the Main Street. Several interesting shops and art galleries. Wonderful weekly event. Definitely don't miss it is you are Lihue or south.
  • Cute town. Great live entertainment. Also found some good Filipino pancit and a Thai food truck.
  • Heard of a great "party" taking place every Friday in Hanapepe so we didn't want to miss this. It's luckily more of a family friendly festival kind of thing with many spots playing live music, many restaurants and cafes offering their food in little booths outside. All we tasted was awesome, you will meet a lot of nice people there. It's very nice for a stroll and was not too crowded when we went there, we had no problems pushing our stroller around. Since this all happens along the Hanapepe Road, which is not closed for traffic during the Art Night, some careless drivers left us feeling uncomfortable walking alongside the road (there's no sidewalk at some parts of the road). Be early for parking, otherwise you'll have to walk quite a distance to get to the scene.
