  • So many different fruits that I knew nothing about. You get to sample many of the fruits (that are in season and ready to be picked) and you learn a little about the fruit. You also take a small walki...  more »

  • Who always wanted to know how hot the exotic fruits in European supermarkets, may be further here. Of course, the selection is seasonal, but the 16 different species were sufficient for us and at least half had we not known before or tasted. Was presented and explained by a volunteer ("WWOOFers") and at the end still a tour through a part of the system followed, to clarify the origin of the fruits.

  • They used to be awesome! Last time we went- not so much. Samples are very small and tour is just a walk along the road. If you haven’t experienced tropical fruit, you must go anyway, especially if you are going to Hana. They do give you a taste of exotic fruit with some history. It’s just the previous tours we given by the owner on her deck - very personable and special. Now it’s generic and touristy. Good old times :)
  • The ride from Hana to Ono Organic Farms is beautiful and not quite as unending with all the curves as the ride from the airport to Hana. Bailey was the name of the gal who gave us a fruit tasting of 16 local fruits they grow on the farm. It was rainy but so cool. This photo shows the bananas hung up for an intern to cut of the bunches of bananas that will be packed and shipped.
  • This is a great place to visit. It is pricey but I felt it was worth every penny. We were able to try papaya, star fruit, lychee, passion fruit, durian, chico sapote, and so many more. They grow coffee, island fruit, avocados, etc all organically. They even had jams, jelly and, of course, banana bread for us to try. Brett was our tour guide and he did a wonderful job. Make sure you look for the address 149 Hana Highway. If you are up on the scary one lane drop off the cliff road, like we did, you went to far. Lol.
  • We went to a tour of organic farm. Unfortunately it rained so much that day that we couldn't go in the garden. But the fruit tasting was pretty exciting. I tasted at least 10 different fruits that i haven't had before.
  • I had a horrible wxperience, with the bosses daughter Buffy, she's 40 something, she was disgustinly DRUNK and RUDE to me, I had my children with me and they had to watch as this drunk lady belittled me in front of an intire group.Worst experience of my life. never will I ever go there again because of the DRUNK Buffy....
