  • I bought a $40 bag of coffee. And didn't regret it. Fruits are beautiful, perfect, exotic and delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and personable. All good.
  • We visited Ono farms and took the tour. The farm is directly past Haleakala national park and Oheo gulch coming from the north. Be prepared to drive up a steep hill to get there. Our tour guide was a ...  more »
  • Loved this place! We went twice over 2 days (and hit up several other fruit stands in the area, including some of the bigger, fancier looking places) and this was hands down the best value with the ta...  more »

  • Our family fell upon Ono Farms by accident. It was our 3 teenagers and my husband and my favorite part of the trip. The young worker cut open a Jackfruit for us to try. She made us coffee. She made us the best popcorn I have ever tasted. All of this is done with solar power. They grow everything there. You can tour their gardens, visit with the neighbors that walk there and purchase momentos
  • If you have some free time while your on the island and have an adventurous palate come and try the exotic fruit tour! It's a farm so it's not 5 star accommodations so don't expect linen service here but do expect: friendly knowledgable staff, delicious and some not so delicious fruit but either way a great experience for you and your mouth! Provided is their local made organic Ono coffee which was smooth and not bitter at all! They will take you for a walking tour around the farm (pending it's not raining) and you can take some of the fruit home as well! We can from the south side of the island and it took us a solid 2.5 hrs from Kihei. The drive is both breath taking and perilous! You are literally driving on the side of the mountains so lots of cliffs and even dangerous stream crossings but so worth it. The views and lookout points are so awe inspiring!
  • Extremely helpful staff. Arrived 10 minutes before closing. Amy went out of her way to explain all of the fruits while giving us taste samples. We bought fresh juice drinks and fresh coffee. We were there well after closing. Must of been the Michigan connection. Go Blue.
  • After visiting Ono Farms I was neglected in every way. Their laziness in providing basic information for living on the farm can cost you your stay. Only come here if you have a deep wallet and the supplies to sustain yourself. Please realize that your money spent here will support a corporate modeled organic culture. (whole foods)
  • My husband and I did the fruit tasting. I was originally skeptical--$35 a person seemed like a lot of money for what was described. I am so happy we didn't let the cost deter us. The tasting takes place on a large covered porch with amazing views of the ocean. In addition to fruit you get to try coffee, jams and honey all made on the farm. The fruit is unlike anything you can get in a grocery store on the mainland--absolutely everything was delicious. We definitely plan on doing this again when we are back in Hana.
