  • Mother nature gets an A+ for sure on this one. The set up is fine and easily accessible but $12.50 a head to "cover costs" is a bit excessive considering Mother Nature did all the work save for some railings. The do provide you with some very bright flashlights. All in all, we forked over the $$ and enjoyed our journey into the Lava Tube.
  • The staff was very nice and open to answering any questions. The signs in the lava tube itself were not to long and very informational. The tube was in good condition and the overall experience was very educational. The fee though is $12.50 per person but they let you borrow a flashlight.
  • A must see when visiting Hawaii. Take your time and read the plaques that tell the story. It's something that you will never experience again in your life. I got some really awesome compelling photos. I absolutely love them and my experience.
  • An interesting underground experience. Admission includes a flashlight, and it's about a half mile trek round trip through the tube. The lower humidity and temperature is a welcome break after a long trip on the road to Hana.
  • Beautiful place fairly short so take your time to take in it's beauty
