  • This is great place to spend a nice day. The beach is right there. You have the paradise ocean club which gives you access to beach, pool, tiki bar and restaurant. Try this place out the next time you need a quick relaxing getaway
  • Great old fort to explore for free. Nice now that it is open to the public. Great free beaches sheltered with lifeguard, perfect for young children. Ample free parking too.
  • Beautiful in a historic haunting way. Great beach. Locals gem. Wish they'd advertise their events more
  • One of our favorite national monuments and as a national monument, it's free! You can walk all the way around the top of the rampartsand tour the museum within the fort. We always bring a picnic and watch the ships pass. If you're lucky, you could see warships returning from deployment.
  • Very cool area! The 500+ year old trees alone were worth the trip. The actual museum is a bit small yet awesome. The rest of the base could use some more open homes to view though.
