  • My daughter loves this place. The animals are adorable and whoever thought to put feed in a vending machine is a genius. The playground is sparkling new looking and we'll kept and they let you host birthday parties at the long tables.
  • Great place to take the kids, (and adults)! Free admission! This place has rescued animals of all sorts. Kids may feed the animals and play on the playground. I started taking my kids there over 20 years ago and now I take my great nieces and nephews. This place has just gotten better. Tables and grills are available to rent for a great kids birthday party!
  • I have been coming here since I was a kid. Love it. It's clean. The animals seem to be well cared for and it just has this feel that you are visiting your family's farm. I 100% recommend to any family and especially if you are on a budget.
  • My kids loved it here. The place is well kept with a big playground, beautiful gardens and lots of animals. Skip the expensive norfolk zoo and come here for a fun family time. Don't forget to check out the beach located by the cemetery.
  • The playground was amazing for the kids however the condition of the animals is very concerning. The deer had a bleeding mass on it's head, the hooved animals clearly have not been groomed or clipped anytime recently and every single one of the animals looked like they are about to die. I seen no water and bunch of unsocial and lethargic animals which for a petting zoo is a bit odd. I understand this is a free petting zoo but what message does having those animals in such conditions teach to the children who are visiting them. What if any of those animals is sick? I am sorry but if you do not have the means to properly care for farm animals you should make the place into a park for the children. I left feeling really sad for those animals and felt thankful that the children that seen them had no clue!
