  • Wonderful park and a fantastic drive from Lincoln Ne. Love the fall colors, winding roads through the hills. We used to come here when I was a child to pic nic. Still the same gorgeous scenery.
  • I wanted to take the day off and drive over to Iowa. I decided to visit Waubonsie and take a few photographs. This is a great time of year to drive the scenic bluffs. There were only a few folks using...  more »
  • It's about 10 miles east of I-29. Nice campground with electric hookups and nice bath houses with showers. Not too many larger sites. We are 26ft and there weren't too many sites that would fit bigger...  more »

  • A beautiful and we'll groomed state Park. The park Rangers were very cordial. The cabins are large and clean with individualized floor plans, electricity, air conditioning, refrigerators. Nice camper spots and tent camping as well. Near by equestrian area if you have your own horses. Smallish lake for kayaking/canoeing. Nearby wilderness reserve.
  • This park has a neat overlook, and some equestrian camp sites. Lots of neat hiking trails and an interesting history. In the main campground there has a playground but it's been taped off every time we have been there. There are several cabins and picnic sites as well as modern bathrooms.
  • Picnic sites are maintained very well. Beautiful views from the overlook. Great walking trails.
  • I wanted to escape the flat plains for a weekend and found Waubonsie S.P. Beautiful scenery and fun hiking! I recommend for a sweet and easy weekend getaway.
  • Great park. Plenty of trails and good lookouts
