  • It's about 10 miles east of I-29. Nice campground with electric hookups and nice bath houses with showers. Not too many larger sites. We are 26ft and there weren't too many sites that would fit bigger...  read more »

  • This park has a neat overlook, and some equestrian camp sites. Lots of neat hiking trails and an interesting history. In the main campground there has a playground but it's been taped off every time we have been there. There are several cabins and picnic sites as well as modern bathrooms.
  • I wanted to escape the flat plains for a weekend and found Waubonsie S.P. Beautiful scenery and fun hiking! I recommend for a sweet and easy weekend getaway.
  • Very scenic views of 3 states. Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri.
  • The cabins are awesome! The prices are very affordable when it comes to being on a budget. My family spent a week here and we definitely are coming back soon!!
  • Waubonsie State Park in Iowa was a wonderful stay. The park was so clean and interesting. Nice trails too. They had a well issue while we were there but provided potable water in the Equestriane unit so we didn't do without. They also provided water for the bathroom which was soooo nice. Kevin the park manager was delightful and everyone else there.
