The winery is named for the Italian word cava which means "cave," reflecting the mining heritage of Sussex County.

  • Came here for a wedding and it was so beautiful! The staff was so nice, wine was amazing and food was good.

  • Most of their wines are very sweet and fruity. Food portions are fairly small too. The out doors area is very nice and had an acoustic guitarist playing.
  • decent place to stop by if you're local, wouldn't go out of the way for it though
  • Wine tastes spoiled, seriously. The cheese platter terrible. We could not finish anything. Pretty sad representation of a "winery experience", and a shame for such a beautiful setting.
  • Very good winery. Very mellow atmosphere. The tastings were pretty cool. Look forward to visiting again.
