  • The trail weaved through neighborhoods. Loved the beach access every now and then. And the constant surf was just delightful.
  • This trail is varied and is peppered with several beaches along the way, so you can take detours if you like. It extends from near the Mavericks south to and through the Ritz property, but don't let t...  read more »
  • We walked on this paved trail for a couple of miles, but it extends for a long way. It's wide enough to be easily used by walkers, runners, and bikers without any problems. There is constant presence ...  read more »
  • It's one of the best picnic point, though camping area is also available but you need to register your self as its clearly mention that camping for registered person, park on the road and walk to beach or pay $10 for convinient parking just next to beach, so far one of the best beach no too much crowded, plenty of benches and grills for BBQ. Very nice and beautiful place for family event I am planning to have family event soon
  • It was so cold at Half Moon Bay State Beach in the morning at 10, that we had to wait out in the car to come out. We were appropriately ready for the beach but not for the torrent of cold winds that were hitting us. Finally sun came out in the afternoon and we relished the beach to fullest. It's a lovely place and definitely a good weekend drive from Bay area.
  • Very pretty beach/cliff side. Water is pretty treacherous for inexperienced swimmers - so be wary of that. Also, the majority of water fountains were not working while I was here which was a hassle when trying to fill up my water bottle. Definitely recommend stopping by here.
  • One of best picnic points! Restrooms are available but completely lack in fooding options. There beach is windy and on slightly cool side.
  • Great place for BBQ near the ocean, there are a lot of girls and tables with ocean view. Most time of the year it's foggy here that makes that place perfect if you want to escape California sun. The parking is $10 is that moment, but there are a lot of places in the neighborhood, but be careful with signs about restricted parking.
