  • This was the most amazing experience. I thought I would be terrified to swim with sharks without a cage but I felt completely safe the whole time with the safety diver in the water with us. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable about not only sharks but the other marine life we encountered, a pod of dolphins, and a whale off in the distance. The sharks came right up to the surface, they seemed just as curious about us as we did about them. I would 100% recommend doing this. The crew was well trained and very concerend with keeping our group of six safe.
  • More than just a tour, it's an education experience that will change your perspective about sharks! As an avid ocean swimmer I thought it was time to get a better understanding/appreciation for sharks. So today I joined up with One Ocean Diving to learn more about these amazing creatures as well as to dispell many of the misconceptions surrounding them. Unlike other shark tours- these guys are scientists, that are researching sharks, and use these tours to help educate the public, bring awareness to the important role of sharks in our ecosystem, and raise funds for their continued research. Today we were able to swim with a little over 30 Sandbar sharks, but you may see Galapagos or even tiger sharks on their tours. I felt completely safe throughout the tour as these scientist are keenly aware of shark behaviors. At one point you will notice one of the sharks coming in at me and the diver quickly putting herself between me and the shark. On another occasion I had to put my fins up to stop an approaching shark. I was amazing to actually stare into their eyes and make that kind of contact with these very intelligent creatures. I would highly recommend this tour!
  • My wife and I loved this adventure. Beautiful boat ride out to where the sharks hung out. Gorgeous sunrise. Swam with the sharks and other marine life. Very cool experience. Ocean and the captain were courteous and seemed to care about our safety and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. I feel the $150.00 per person was fair. We hope to go again.
  • Awesome experience with One Ocean Diving. When we walked up, we saw a large group of about 15 people. Someone started calling names of those who signed up and our group was not called. Turns out the entire group then started walking towards the larger boat with the cage, leaving my group as the only one there to go cageless. That was when my friend realized what I signed him up for. Our guides, Sophie and Shiloh, were friendly and amazing. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the trip. We went on the 7:30 am swim and saw 38 sharks on our trip. I recommend buying the GoPro footage, as they got great shots of us swimming in the ocean with the sharks. One Ocean Diving does a tremendous job on conservation, education, and research. They do research on shark behavior and conducts population counts. The only thing that I would recommend they do is to publish their findings in a peer reviewed journal! Other than that, I only have positive things to say about this organization.
  • Totally enjoyed my time even though I can't swim. I just hung on to the ropes by the boat. Crew were very friendly and encouraging. Highly recommended.
