  • Cool place, well put together. Went in for the presentations during the bald eagle festival. Only complaint would be the giant pole in the presentation room that made seeing the screen really hard. Ei...  more »

  • The American Bald Eagle Foundation Museum is just ok. I wish I could give it higher marks but don't be misled, it is just an average attraction. The museum is in Haines Alaska and it typifies what you...  more »

  • Wasn't expecting much, but it was strangely enjoyable here. They have an amazing diorama of the various animals that live in this area, as well as collections of animal skulls and other body parts, seashells, and even a small exhibit on rocks and minerals. They have a few scavenger hunts to do that range from easy to difficult, but I think they could carry more in their gift shop. They are home to two bald eagles, as well as a few other raptors, and I recommend taking the guided tour and going to watching the feeding! They only take fifteen people on the guided tours twice a day though, so I recommend asking for a spot when you go!
  • Excellent tourist stop, especially for a rainy day. Extremely knowledgeable facilitators, great bird show, good for children.
  • So cool to see bald eagles up close! The price is a little steep thought just to see them in a cage. Beautiful birds though! I can understand why this is the country's national bird
  • Great efforts of the American Bald Eagle Foundation :) America should proud of what they were working on, I loved Eagle because Indonesia had its own Eagle as the Coat of Arms symbol [Javanese Eagle/Garuda] Vivat American Bald Eagle Foundation! Keep good works!!!
