  • Spent the morning picking (and eating) luscious blueberries and peaches. The owners are great people and go out of their way to make your visit fun. The peaches are the best I've tasted in years. They...  read more »

  • I was excited to visit an orange grove and drove 30 minutes to Ridge Island Groves to find it closed aduring business hours nd apparently closed-closed. It didn't look like anyone had been there for a long while. The gates were locked and the hanging plants were dead. Ridge Island Groves needs to update its website and add a phone message to save others from a wasted trip.
  • Great people, great citrus and produce and wonderful orange ice cream!
  • Great experience at Ridge Island Groves, I always make it a point to stop in and grab some oranges and other fruit when visiting friends in Haines City. It's a nice trip that's not too far out of the way, and the staff is all very friendly. The owner is usually there just about everyday overseeing the juicing process or talking with customers and if you're lucky he'll pull out his pocket knife and slice up an orange and let you try it fresh off the tree! Samples are available for the different types of fruit they grow as well as juice they produce and sell and the best part is the homemade orange sherbet samples!! Next time you're in the area it's worth a stop!
  • Betty made a wonderful tour for us and we picked lots of tasty oranges and berries
  • Great fruit, but more importantly great people. Learned more about central Florida and the fruit industry than in all our dozens of trips combined. Workers eager to share their experience, passionate about their work, and enjoyable to learn from. Truly local produce and products.
