  • Diamondback is no longer a golf course. It is a working farm with cows on the "fairways" and a vineyard instead of greens. The front gate is overgrown and neglected with busted lights and a non-workin...  more »
  • This was a great course but it's closed now. Too bad. This course used to be across from Grenlefe golf resort.
  • It is closed. The golf course is all growed up with weeds and there are cattle on the grounds. No more Diamondback Golf Club.

  • Diamondback is a gem of a golf course. You won't find a lot of glitz and glamor here, just golf in a nature reserve. No houses, no highways along side, no noise other than the sounds of nature, you are out in the country and you feel 100 miles away from the city and so it's easy to let yourself get into the golf. The course itself is difficult, but fair, played from the tips as it requires accuracy and length in certain areas. We have always found the course conditions to be in very good condition and the greens smooth and consistent. It may be because this is off the beaten path a bit (1 hour drive from Orlando airport) that they don't get the traffic that some of the more popular courses do so they are forced to keep their prices lower and that may hurt their ability to do all the tweaking to the course that they would like. But but that's also a good thing as it makes Diamondback a great golf value. The restaurant is also a place not to be missed for good food and a relaxing beer after the round overlooking the pond and waterfall and closing holes. Make this course a priority to play and you won't be disappointed.
  • This course is out of the way but awesome. My wife and I were pre warned by the starter that it requires precision play and he was right. Very bushy and lost lotsa balls. Rentals were newer wilsons and helped a lot. Last off the course. Would go back.
  • Isn't this course shut down. Talked to people at grenelefe, they said it's closed.
  • I loved this course, sadly it closed down in 2014.
  • Very good Golf course, difficult but a must play if you are in Orlando. Nice to play at a course that was about the golf not the "resort" Excellent design and a real value for the $$. Look forward to visiting it again!
