  • Let me just tell you that Brittany Wedd is just absolutely amazing. I’ve never met anyone that is so caring and so hardworking. She shows how much she cares about the visitors and the volunteers. She’...  more »
  • What a surprise and a fun morning, the adults enjoyed themselves as much as the 4 1/2 year old did. Lots of hands o for the kids and lots of well documented exhibits for the adults.  more »
  • - Interesting to see some of the "old" museum exhibits with some of the newest additions that are more STEAM (STEM, with A for arts) focused. Sounds like they are making the place brighter and more ha...  more »

  • Such a gem of a place. We've visited on/off for a year but buying a family membership for 2018. Well thought out interactive exhibits that any age can enjoy. My 15 month old had a blast in every exhibit his 3.5 year old sister played. Our favorites are the indoor playhouses, puppet area, builder room, race car track, shopping in the agricultural room, and the mega-super-awesome art emplorium (the new art room located in the second floor)! Limited parking behind museum (maybe 10 spots) or metered street parking. You can bring your own food and eat in the cafeteria on the second floor. Has a large family restroom on the first floor. While there isn't any specific nursing room, you can easily find a private spot or chair throughout.
  • A hands on location, you can learn from yourself, or get the help from a volunteer never to far away. It's not a place to just rush through or you'll get the impression there isn't much; stop, read, interact. It's all worth it when you ask the children what they think of when you try to tell them it's time to go. Huge kudos to Brittany.
  • Older museum, but kids loved it! The art room was the best, and enjoying showing the kids a museum that was fun but all had historical value. Lots of separate rooms, so keeping my kids together was the only challenge. But loved it! Would def recommend.
  • Wonderful staff! We had a great time, kids really enjoyed the art room.
  • Had so much fun! Thanks Dave for teaching me how to program the Lego robot! What a fun place! My sisters loved the STEAM machine! Thanks! Jake and the Spector family
