  • Best State Campground in VT, and I have been to several. This place is the purest form of nature that I have found camping anywhere. Low key and beautiful. My wife and I go here every year for our anniversary, I think that says enough.
  • Many water front camp sites on quintessential New England lake. Lake does have houses on it, though, so there is boat traffic.
  • Peaceful, off the beaten track............., crystal clear water, great place for listening to loons, paddling and being in nature without the pretense of entertainment . Small cottage community nestled along the shoreline outside the park boundaries.
  • The place is great if u want a vary noise warden on a golf cart riding around every half hour telling u to be qwight or he's calling the cops I went there with my 3 year old an my 5 year old and my three year old was asleep on my lap at the camp fire an my oldest was sleeping in the tent an the warden kept saying we were talking to load an it was to late for a fire it was only eight o'clock an that was the problem we were only talking yet we were to load but never once did either one of my boys wake up plus my dad cam to visit me for a hour an they charged him to come in an was vary rude to him I could have had a better time camping in my back yard stay a way trust me
