  • This appears to be the only ocean beach access for the town of Gualala. It's just south of town, on hwy. 1. While we didn't go in, we could see the beach access that it afforded, from our hotel.
  • Gualala Point Regional Park sits just outside of The Sea Ranch, next to Sea Ranch Golf Links. Parking can be found inside the park, though many park outside across Highway 1. When you start your trek ...  more »
  • Great day for a hike. Loved the benches with very nice dedications. Took some great photos. Trails very easy to walk.

  • We didn't aquire the name of a certain older mail Park Ranger. Maintenance Vehicle number documented. He was extremely aggressive and accusatory about "scavanged" firewood. This toxicity is unwarrented and unhealthy. It is not conducive for a healthy visit. The event happened at 10am Thursday @ 082516. I have already place a call into administration at the supervisor level. He is an older man with a longer grey beard. Stands about 5' 10. 180 pounds. Do not let this bully ruin your stay. My wife and I have been camping at Gualala Point for 40 years. He is very sick and needs to find another occupation where he does not bother kind people.
  • Nice quiet park with ocean access. The ocean side has some nice trails for walking your dog. Saw tons of deer by the river. The campground is peaceful, but family friendly. Camping right along the river is great.
  • Beautiful place to walk along the inlet or the ocean. The totem pole looking carvings are actually Siberian ceremonial artifacts and are lovely to see. We sat and watched the kayakers paddle down the river from a point high above them. Lots of picnic tables, pack a lunch!
  • Other than the unposted 2 night policy this place is wonderful. Hot showers, polite staff and rangers, and great lockers.
  • This is where I walk every day one of the best parks in Sonoma you will see whales from its shore
