  • I've been to quite a few caverns. Each have their own "thing" about them, but Grand Caverns is something special. Along with the regular goofy names of various cave formations, this cave gives you tha...  more »

  • My wife and I were lucky enough to be the only ones on a tour this past weekend and had a fantastic time exploring the caves. They're amazingly large with so many unique features. Highly recommended!

  • Amazing tour and incredible caves. It was breathtaking. This is definitely a tour to go on. My dad has a hard time doing stairs, and he was able to do the tour with no problem.
  • I grew up in Grottoes in the 1950s and have loved the caverns all my life. I now live in Blacksburg VA and try to return to Grottoes every year to tour the caverns. It is absolutely beautiful and brings back great memories. You owe it to yourself to tour Mother Nature at her very best. I sincerely Love Grand Caverns.
  • Lots of fun. It was my first cave experience, and I'm afraid any future cave experience just won't live up to this, as this is such an awesome cave. I learned a lot from our guide. This cave has seen 3 centuries worth of people come through. I would recommend this to anyone who is a history buff, and I believe it is a must-see for anyone who is into geology and nature in general.
  • We went with the family, and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Not at all like just a cave, the formations were everywhere. They were quite varied, and quite large. Our guide was both friendly and knowledgeable. This cavern was less expensive that most of the others in the area, and after touring another one today, I can say that Grand Caverns was a better value, with a lot more formations to see. Highly recommend.
  • Had a lovely tour and opportunities to see unique cave formations. I would have been interested to have a little more time for pictures and general looking around. With multiple tour groups passing by each other it made it a little hard to have quite that amount of time for the "awe" and wonder. Overall, however, very nice with a friendly tour guide and definitely some unique views.
