  • We’ve been in caves throughout the US (and a couple in Europe), yet found Grand caverns to be perhaps the best overall experience. Not too commercialized, with a very friendly staff; a wonderful...  more »
  • We visited on August 27th. This is an exceptionally beautiful cavern. I was very impressed. It is beautifully maintained. The cavern walk is not difficult. I brought a small flashlight which I found.....  more »
  • Highly recommended, the cave has huge caverns and tons of impressive formations. It’s less than half an hour from Massanutten Resort. Jeffrey, our guide, was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the...  more »
  • A beautiful facility with something for everyone. The caverns are beautiful but not set up for large groups. Our guide didn't handle the group very well; there was a lot of chatter which made it hard to hear what he was saying. We loved the picnic area by the water and would love to bring our whole family there.
  • Best cavern tour in the area (compared to the other well-marketed caverns). Each "room" in the tour has something different to offer and the tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable. My 12 year old was fascinated. Grand Caverns, please market this hidden gem better! It is worth the trip. Highly recommended.
  • Wanting a quick trip and an escape from the August heat, I decided to drive over to The Grand Caverns. The entire tour took about an hour and was not rushed. We had a small group of 6 people total. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. There are just so many cave features to take in. As they tell you on their site, be sure to bring a jacket as it was 54 degrees in the cavern even though it was 92 degrees outside.
  • My wife bought tickets for what I thought was Luray Caverns since you see it advertised everywhere. After visiting Grand Caverns we had no desire to see the others. This place is great! Had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Come to find out she had only been on the job for 11 days. Great job Hannah!
  • Great place, very good guide, o really like this place. Have been there several times. Easy to go through. No Hugh crowds.
