  • I love coming out here and running. The scenery is beautiful and the trail is awesome. It's a must see if you're in the area.
  • Great place to take the dog for a hike and end up at the ocean. Plenty of parking. Generally get a good breeze off of the ocean. Nice way to spend a sunny day.
  • I love this park! The beginning of the trail makes you think it is just a walk near the water, but stay with it until it turns. About halfway through the 5 or so mile trail, you come across a rocky co...  read more »
  • Decent place to go hiking by the ocean. Great ocean views. Well maintained and well-marked trails. I visited in the winter and there were still quite a few people out there. The trails a very easy without much elevation. I do prefer trails with some decent elevation though.
  • It's a nice place for a relaxing walk or a picnic with friends and family. There are benches and tables so you can set things up very easily. It's a great place for trail running and mountain biking. The place is not too crowded so it's a plus. The parking lot and the road leading to it from the main road is not paved and full of gravel so the ride is bumpy. The park has no paved roads for road biking.
  • Kids loved it. We set up for the day not that far down the trail and had the spot to ourselves all day. Perfect, beautiful and relaxing.
  • Three main walks available - full woods, edge of woods, and shoreline (just not at high tide). Swimming (no lifeguard), clamming, crabbing, picnic area, beautiful river and ocean views. Pets and horses allowed.
  • Awesome trails to run, walk, or bike on. It's not strenuous but if you wanted to put in a few miles you can find them here.
