  • My husband went to Sunrise and all I can say is so much potential but they very little to capitalize on it. The chairlifts have no bars and are so slow on Cyclone that I was on the lift for 30 minutes...  more »
  • Not a lot of choices for skiing in Arizona, but this is a great choice! Lots of runs, fast lifts, no lines, and a nice bar to get a beer after a day of skiing. Rented skis, service was a little slow, ...  more »

  • I am an avid mountain biker, and Sunrise is a terrible place to ride. The price to ride is sky high for riding trails that have had zero maintenance. It was fun a few years ago when season pass holders could ride for free, as it's not worth paying to ride here. But now to charge, almost 40$ a day, with no quality trails is inexcusable. I can ride several big mountain resorts (Telluride) in Colorado for free and they maintain their trails. Shame on you sunrise
  • Crowded, but has nice amenities, but a small restroom facility. Prices are reasonable, and a great (and only real) place to play in the snow in Arizona!
  • The mountain is awesome. The staff is great. The food is ok. Getting rentals is hard - get there early. If you have kids, make sure they can ride the lift with their equipment on because they won't let you on without yours to help.
  • Spent an afternoon shooting the 3D archery targets. There were two courses with 15 targets each. It was a nice walk through the forest and a lot of fun.
  • We only come for the Archery competion, otherwise we haven't gotten the opportunity to experience the establishments to rate their status.
