An adorable, well-stacked shop with friendly staff and a great selection. I could have explored for hours!

Good selection and cute shop. However, one of the employees was being trained while I was there, and the other employee training her was at best, impatient, and at worst, mean. I was shocked to hear someone speak so harshly to a new employee who was clearly trying very hard to stay calm and do her best to follow instructions. The lack of compassion was jarring. I assume a bookshop would promote kind communication and an inclusive culture in terms of employee dynamics.

Diane's Books was a life saver for Covid holiday shopping! I am trying to support local businesses (in this case local for my gift recipients!) so I emailed Diane's with a list of books I wanted to order for my nieces and nephews. I needed recommendations for some of the older ones and Diane immediately had some great suggestions. They ordered what they didn't have in stock and let me know when everything was ready. I was able to pay over the phone and arrange for the items to be gift wrapped and for curbside delivery. Maybe it wasn't quite as easy as an Amazon order, but I got much better service and I still didn't have to leave my house!

They were unbelievably helpful in finding a book for a present I never would have found by myself. Bill
