  • I wouldn't call this a destination site, but the Park is a nice place to take an easy hike and look over the city of Greenville
  • This is such a beautiful place it's a must see. So clean so peaceful plenty to do and see. Great place for children and couples. So green lots of Canadian Honkers to see and their friendly
  • This is a large park. There are bathrooms near the entrance and near the top. Most trails are several miles. We did not have all day. We drove through and made a quick walk around the small lake. You ...  read more »
  • We love visiting Paris Mountain for the hiking. The upper lake is so peaceful! Just make sure you know the dates of the bike races if you're looking for a quiet hike. You can also camp here, which is fun for family camping. We've tent camped and hammock camped and they have good facilities and sites.
  • As a Furman student, Paris Mountain is a great, convenient hike. I especially love the hike up to the reservoir. If proximity wasn't a factor though, I can hardly justify paying a $5 entry fee per person to go hiking on Paris Mountain – the hikes rarely take more than a couple of hours if you take time to enjoy the view and while they're certainly pretty, there isn't anything awe-inspiring at the end. If you're willing to make the drive or happen to live about equal distance to Caesar's Head and the group of trails in that area, those are probably a better bet.
  • The Music In The Woods series is totally worth your Saturday afternoon. The Civilian Conservation Corps built something really wonderful for the region. Learn about your local history here. It was a beautiful afternoon with well groomed trails to follow.
  • Gorgeous park with plenty of trails for hiking & biking. Really nice pavilions for picnicking or just to rest after your andevture in the wilderness. Only hiked this time but will be back with my bike soon!!
  • This is a lovely little park that's easy to get to from most places in Greenville. Plenty of good hiking trails up top and easy walking trails by the bottom lake for kids. I bring my dog here almost weekly for exercise and we always have a good time.
