Built on reclaimed land from textile mills, Falls Park on the Reedy is home to the Upstate Shakespeare Festival. Enter the park's pedestrian bridge from Main Street in the West End District, where you'll also find the visitor center and restaurants. The first point of interest is the large bronze sculpture by Bryan Hunt next to the entrance. A footpath crosses over the cascades and the remaining wall of a 1776 grist mill. • The park came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. What a wonderful respite in the city. A great place to walk and enjoy the landscape and serenity.
  • My seven year old loved it. It allowed several morning walks just outside of our hotel. The views are superb and it is super clean. A great place to walk and talk.
  • Each trip to Greenville requires a visit the Fall Park on the Reedy; the falls are captivating. The walking/bike trail that connects to the zoo is a simple pleasure that should not be missed.
  • Amazing Park! I take all of my guests there. Recently, my friends from Chicago visited us and my husband's relatives from Lithuania (Europe) lived with us for a few weeks. All of them loved the Falls Park on the Reedy! I highly recommend it! There are 3 big waterfalls (one has a modern design, another, the biggest one, looks so natural and beautiful, and the third one you can find if you walk toward the Greenville Zoo). The atmosphere is so relaxing there! Even the air is so fresh and tasty! :-) I also like the modern style of the buildings and bridges there!
  • Such a great park! The Swamp Rabbit biking/running trail runs through it along the Reedy River with views of the falls. Picturesque environment. Many activities also take place here including Shakespeare in the Park and Moonlight Movies. Near several eating and drinking establishments. Check out Falls Bridge here, an architectural beauty. There are a couple of public bathrooms: one behind the Peace Center and one beside Passarelle's. This park is one of my favorite spots downtown Greenville.
  • Great area to walk around and see the natural waterfalls in the middle of an urban setting. The shops are nice, however, nothing that I would drive to specifically. I go to see "nature" and the shops are a nice touch to give you something else to do. Beware of the geese, they can get aggressive. The ducks are nice though.
  • What a fantastic place to hang out or get in that daily workout. This park a Has been transformed into a beautiful concert/exercise/hang out/ kind of place. The hanging bridge is pretty neat too. It offers a great view of the waterfalls below.
  • Great park on the west side of downtown Greenville which has quickly become the center of Greenville's recent downtown revitalization. There is plenty to do around Falls Park with all kinds of dining and entertainment within walking distance. Falls Park makes a great starting point for the 20+ mile Swamp Rabbit Trail for biking and running enthusiasts. The 345 foot Liberty Bridge foot bridge spanning the park provides an amazing view of the Reedy River's waterfall as it winds through the park. Falls Park is a beautiful highlight in the middle of Greenville and is definitely worth a visit while you're in town.
