  • This is one of my son's favorite places! It's a small museum, but it packs a lot into it. Nice children's section and in one part of the museum they bring in a new exhibit three or four times a year. ...  read more »

  • So much nature to see and learn about, love the kids corner in the back room with interactive fun, live animal shows, and storytime. Great train through the woods out the back too.
  • Great spot for kids considering the tour can take 20 minutes or two hours based on their attention span... being from out of town, this was certainly worth the trip from PA to share something new with the family and it's in such a nice area as well!
  • Small place to visit with kids to spend a couple hours. Nothing more than that. Mostly there are very few visitors.
  • For young kids, the museum's fantastic! A wonderful chance to interact with nature, both inside and out, on a local scale. A great destination, if you have a couple hours with the kids, and need an activity. An entertaining way to introduce children to the concept of museums as a fun place for them. A nice place to have a membership for the summer, to take advantage of the air conditioning, or to enjoy the camps. This museum is how a local business does 'children's engagement' well.
  • It's nice in August on every Tuesday admission is only 2 dollars. The museum is small it takes only about 20 minutes to walk through, but the exhibits are nice.
