  • You can easily spend a 3-4 hours here. The aquarium is beautiful and the staff is very knowledgeable. Great gift shop with lots of merchandise. Do wish they had more animals outside.  more »

  • This Science center is more of a nature center, but it still has a lot to offer. This place has really improved as well. Some of the exhibits have been renovated and they are much better. The dinosaur exhibit has more models and they are in better condition. The aquarium is the best exhibit now, with a great variety of species and interactive displays. There are also plenty of lizards, insects and reptiles. I got to pet a tarantula! There are still a number of exhibits under renovation, but hopefully that means this place will continue to improve.
  • This is a great place to take toddlers! We've been several times and mine love it! The zoo area is big enough to have some neat animals, but small enough to not be overwhelming for young children! My children love the indoor play areas! I like that they provide indoor and outdoor places for eating packed lunches. I would suggest getting there right when they open on holidays and weekends!
  • When I was a little kid this place was nothing much to look at. However, in the past few years they have really expanded and taken a good look at what their patrons want to see. It is a bit more of a zoo than a science center, however, there do seem to be quite a few places that are under construction right now so perhaps they are working on the science center part. The new aquarium is top notch with a shark tank and sting ray petting center! If you want to see the tiger I would go in the afternoon, it seems to sleep most of the morning. The inside staff seem very nice and helpful, however, the older staff at the ticket booth are a bit abrupt , but don't let that put you off the rest is a great day out! Bring sunscreen because a good portion of the interesting stuff to see is outside and going early is better!
  • This place was awesome. My kid was a bit small to really appreciate it (under a year), but I surely had a fun time while I was here with my friends, taking a look at the outdoor animals as well as the aquatic section. Although I'm not the biggest fan of zoos, I haven't been to one in several years, and really had a good time going through here. It looks like they may also have some sort of a ropes course or trust exercise section that I wasn't able to check out, which seems like an interesting journey to go on with a large group of people. They also give out student discounts. Check this place out if you're passing through!
  • This is certainly one of the best kids museums I have ever visited. We will DEFINITELY come here again in the future. It's gigantic and basically a mini zoo, aquarium, AND children's museum. My 6, 4, and 2 year old spent 3 hours here and didn't get bored at all! They also have an amazing ropes course for older kids and parents (although we didn't actually go on it this visit). And the city park next to it is also beautiful and fun to use! My only suggestion is that we went on an INSANELY busy day during spring break and it was almost impossible to park anywhere. People were double parked, covering the grass, in the field... They need to expand their lot!!!!!!
