So many beautiful things to see and relatively peaceful trails to walk along. My wife loves plants and gardening and was in heaven. There is a bathroom facility at the entrance. At the far end of the ...  more »

Love it here! So many walking trails and offshoots off the trails and benches everywhere to sit and take a break as well as plenty of places to sit with a blanket and hang out. Love taking my kids here for a walk and the play at the playground. Recently went to the Solstice Festival here and it was an excellent use of the park space. Love all the signs telling you about the plants and the fact that it even has a Little Library on site. We come here every week!

This park is so nice to walk through. There are a ton of really great events that happen here too! Keep an eye on facebook and the Greensboro Beautiful website. I love the art in the arboretum event, it's so much fun!

Beautiful spot! Don't follow Google's directions though. The entrance is off Green Valley as it merges onto Wendover. There is a skinny driveway that looks like it leads to the ballfields, with a TINY rectangular sign for the arboretum. You could easily miss it! Go in past the ballfields and you will get to the main parking lot by the playground. The path to the pretty part is at the ballfields end of the parking lot.

Beautiful area. It's like a piece of untouched history amongst all the hustle and bustle of a city life. They've done a wonderful job maintaining the natural beauty of the area. Very relaxing. Oh, and there are tons of pokestops around here. Always lures set up :)

Large grounds with excellent walking paths. Multiple benches slightly off the beaten path for a bit of quiet privacy to read/nap. Has a Little Library on the grounds if you forget to bring reading material. Great for a sunny afternoon stroll. For PoGo'ers - plenty of pokestops, several typically mystic dominated gyms. Good during events and for magikarp, otherwise mostly common pokemon. Unfortunately not a nesting location.
