  • Gibbs is my favorite local brewery. They have great beer and lots of fun events. My friends with dogs appreciate that they are dog friendly.  more »

  • Good beer. No food. Nice atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Would be a good place to stop on a brew walking tour.  more »

  • I'm embarrassed to say that I've been meaning to try Gibbs since they opened-and finally got here last week! Very welcoming atmosphere with bartenders who really want you to have a good experience. Great downtown location, and although there's no kitchen, staff have menus for most of the surrounding restaurants. You can order and pick up, but apparently a few will actually deliver. Beautifully restored historic building, and one of the best milk stouts I've ever tasted anywhere. I'll definitely be back! So glad you picked Greensboro as your home.
  • Place was clean and had a good atmosphere, but there weren't any drinks I could have since the selection was so small. The lighting and seating outside wasn't great either, and though they had board games most of them were standard "moms game cupboard" stuff like risk and apples to apples. So, not bad but not great. Staff was really nice though. Might be worth coming again.
  • Another great brewery in NC. Sasha and everyone up there are great at what they do and don't sugar coat it. You get a great beer, for a good price, and get to talk to some amazing people.
  • This is one of my favorite places to go, never too terriblyoyd even when it is busy which is nice. They are pet friendly which is awesome. I bring my little dog here sometimes to improve her social skills :) the beer is excellent and they usually have a food truck parked outside so you don't have to worry about getting hungry. The pay lot next to them is very convenient as well if you are like me and detest parralel parking.
  • It's been 2 years since I was last in town and visited. Great place with a great atmosphere, especially on a beautiful day. The Blonde ale was a great choice for a nice sunny day. The place was pretty busy and the barcade across the street is a nice addition to the neighborhood. NCBeerMonthTour
