GSP is a great place, good for family or a couple. Campsites are huge and very well spaced, the staff is only intrusive if you aren't following the usual rules and they need to step in. There's a huge playground at the public side of the beach, and another one across the road (where your dog can join you). The pet rules are strict as is typical of most campgrounds (can't be left unattended at all, not even in your vehicle, and can't go anywhere near the beach). Free hot showers, which is a rarity! The only thing that would be better is to have some areas with at least basic hookups. I camp there as often as possible with my kids, try it- you'll love there!
Absolutely great! Friendly staff, huge camping area, and fun things to do while youre camping! Also the distance between campgrounds is great!
One of the worst experiences I've had in a campground!!! Campsites are ok, but some of the staff are extremely rude. We never got to fully enjoy our time there because all the staff did, was complain about us being loud when we really weren't!! One of the ladies that work there came up to our campsite and practically told us, that we could not listen to Spanish music or even speak the Spanish language!! My family and I felt extremely discriminated because the other sites were being as loud or even more and they never told them anything. Never going there again. I do not recommended this place only because of how rude they were. Oh and to top it all out, they wanted to charge us twice!
You get sites on rent for $45/day. You need to setup tent. Toilets and showers are available. A very nice lake in the park which is making this park very beautiful.
I usually go to Pawtuckaway (ptobably misspelled) and it may have lakeside camps but Greenfield's are so much more level and the water is not closed half the time because of high bacteria levels. Also this park is rarely crowded and usually very quit
