  • Today we pulled off in a parking lot to see what everyone was looking at and we saw The Sinks. The falls were gorgeous. The falls are easy to access with a parking lot on the side of the road. We woul...  more »
  • Find a park ranger to learn about the history of the Sinks! Nice stop along the way. Be in the lookout or you will pass it up!  more »
  • Beautiful place! Gets crowded...parking may be an issue at times. Nice steps lead up to a trail. No bathroom.  more »

  • Great place to go if you love cliff jumping! There's a 15ft rock perfect for jumping and diving off of(check for debris beforehand) Water is cold, but extremely refreshing. My favorite swimming hole in Tennessee. Get here before the crowds! It can get PACKED in the peak season. There is a parking lot with about 20-30 spaces, but it fills up quickly.
  • Our family of 15, including 9 grandchildren, had a fantastic time! The trail to Meigs falls is a very easy two mile hike. The trail is an easy running trail with few roots and rocks. I ran to the ridge trail and back to the sinks. There are many stream crossings that are easy on the stepping stones. We spent several hours jumping off the rocks into the creek and swimming. The water is so deep there are no worries about hitting the bottom. What great memorable day.
  • They could work on parking. It is a nightmare and near impossible. We kept driving and didn’t even try to pull in because there was NO WAY it would have worked. Go three more miles or so up the way and on your left is a pretty nice spot. People call it “the Y” the waters chilly but it feels amazing!
  • Always nice to visit the sinks. Many improvements over the years. Nice overlook and great history. Take some time and enjoy the area. It is beautiful.
  • Pretty, but nothing much more to see than the water coming over the rocks. If you're an adventurist, you can climb your way down to the water. Lots of ways to trek down to the water, and 3 hiking trails atop a picturesque stairway.......we saw some swimming/floating beyond the bend, The Sinks, which looked fun!!
