  • This is a nice stop on the left hand side of the road on the way to Cade's Cove. It is a very short walk to where you can view the falls and pools. Thirty years ago you could swim here but there are s...  more »
  • The Sinks is a neat area about half way between the Sugarlands visitor center and Townsend. Like Meigs Falls nearby, you can see it from the road which would be my advice. This is the first time I hav...  more »
  • This is a quick stop off the road to stretch your legs. Falls were cool to look at and read the history of. Easy access for families.  more »

  • Amazing! I have a bone disease that doesn't allow me to walk on gravel or rocky roads. This was perfect! Cement floor all the way to the viewing area and a bit more. I will be returning with my family every time we're here.
  • Best described as nature's waterpark. When in Gatlinburg, must make a stop here, especially for the kids. Very close to the road so don't need to hike a long way to get to it. If you are brave enough, you can dive into the water off the big rock formations.
  • Interesting spot, decent waterfall which is viewed easily not far from the parking lot. If your interest is in finding glamorous waterfalls - this one will not offer too much for you.
  • Great swimming hole with a waterfall. Some people even jump from the guardrail into the water, but this isn't recommended because of the many rocks hidden below the waterline.
  • Awesome place for swimming. Definitely worth stopping. Sinks was the best part in my whole trip there.
