  • Its a good little walk from the car to stretch the legs. There is nothing wrong with it. Pretty falls...just don't consider it hiking. Its just a small journey for someone needed some time out of the ...  more »
  • Fun and easy hike on a nice day. The falls are surprisingly big for such a close easy hike. Looking at hiking maps, this trail and falls are not identified. So it takes word of mouth to know to keep w...  more »
  • I am glad I stepped inside to ask about trails and found a little waterfall that was just a short hike from the visitor's center!  more »

  • These falls were very beautiful and really easy to get to! It is a short walk back to these falls on a wide and flat path which makes it very accessible to many different people! I really enjoyed these falls and as much as I love hiking back to find other falls it was also nice to have an easy path to find this beautiful fall!
  • Nice easy quick hike/walk. Small waterfall. Great if you have kids.
  • This was a fun, easy little hike. I really wouldn't even call it a hike from the trail head to the falls. A very good place to bring kids and the family. The main downside is that it's quite crowded, at least when we went. You can continue along the trails past the falls, and see some pretty cool sites, but we didn't get to go very far as our own little one was getting tired.
  • Gatlinburg Trail was an easy hike along Fighting Creek. It was interesting reading the brochure and know that I was walking a similar path that 25 families walked to church and school many years ago. Cataract Falls was beautiful. We appreciated the log bench where we could sit and enjoy the view.
  • Was pretty dry and very small waterfall. Very easy to get to if you have small children or have trouble getting around.
