  • Very close to Gatlinburg, not very popular, but fun, wooded trail with challenging inclines. Changes in the difficulty level of the trail allows for nice change of pace during the hike. Surface rather...  more »
  • We thoroughly enjoyed this hike though it was challenging at times. Much is uphill! This is fortunately not a crowded trail. We only saw four people total! The falls were pretty. It took us about 1:40...  more »
  • I enjoyed this hike but the falls were not very spectacular. The hidden gem is the cemetery, make sure you check it out. It's all uphill back and it's very steep. The hike itself was fun just wish the...  more »

  • My wife and I hate this Trail to the falls on our recent vacation to the Smokies. This was our favorite trail that we hiked and it was beautiful because there was a lot less people on it and the scenery was awesome. The terrain gets a little steep when you get down towards the falls and it's all downhill to the falls so you have to call back up hill to get back. But it's well worth it. There is a trail along the way that goes up to an old Cemetery from the early nineteen hundreds that is beautiful too but again it's all uphill to get there we were glad we stopped though.
  • Pretty secluded, I didn't see anyone else the entire time and it's easy to get to, BUT the hike back out can be pretty steep. Parking is also difficult if you choose a popular day for this hike. With that said, these are some nice falls. Not huge or spectacular, but very nice.
  • Long trail but a great hike, the falls are a great reward for your efforts.
  • Awesome short trek in fall season.
  • Nice area to visit without the crowds of the other popular falls in the park.
