  • My family visited this dam while on vacation. Kids enjoyed the view and the view from the top. Got to see Goldfinch bird here closely. The dam is beautiful to walk onto.  more »

  • Nice if you like mice crawling around you, but pretty relaxing if you've been hiking for days. It even has a solar charging station for phones and things. Don't use the water pump here, it's nasty.
  • Great stop or zero day for AT hikers. Nice shelter. Clean water. Free shower. Solar recharge station.
  • Really great shelter along the Appalachian Trail, if you're going here PLEASE be respectful of your surroundings and the people.
  • It was an extraordinary experience seeing the damage from both sides and learning why it was built.
  • Clean and quiet place. Has beautiful views.
