  • Purina Farms is a bit of an amusement park with animals. It's not a zoo, as you get to interact directly with the animals. They had newly born animals like piglets and chicks, a dog show, a wagon ride...  more »
  • The dog show was fascinating. My kids could watch it several times in a row. The cow milking was educational, as was petting the baby animals. For my family, this isn't an 'all day' visit, but very fu...  more »

  • I can't believe how maybe cool St. Louis things are free. I randomly checked this place out one day and there was a dog show. Plus there are a herding and agility fields. In the Vistor Center, you are able to touch animals and learn more about them. NOT JUST FOR KIDS. A few miles away is the Shaw Nature Reserve. It's worth the drive.
  • This place is amazing. Purina Farms is a combination of a corporate museum, petting zoo and theme park for dogs. The highlight is the dog show where the Purina trick dog team jumps up to 20 feet into the water to catch a toy. What more can you want?
  • We usually go once a year; around Halloween. The kiddos dress up. Pretty neat place! The Haunted Hayloft is super cool! And all of the interaction with the animals is amazing, as well! It is free admission and parking is just $5. They do something similar in the spring, too! The dog show is just cuteness overload!
  • Really great place to visit for kids or really anyone who loves animals. Love the annual events like the Holiday Petacular".
  • Good show venue. A bit small. Parking so so.
