  • This is a great place to take kids and 100% free! There are dog stunt shows every day. You can pet farm animals and learn about them. There is an interactive education room that teaches you how to take care of your pets (health facts and training tips.) They even allow you to bring your own dogs with you. The staff is very friendly and can answer pretty much any question you ask them about animals.
  • My son had a blast on our first visit here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the environment is very fun and appropriate for kids of all ages. My son is only a year and a half but he was having just as much fun as the kids who were 8, 9, 10-12 years old. There are adorable baby animals and cats and dogs for the kids to safely interact with (safe for both the kids and the animals) with very attentive staff. They had a very fun event going on and my son got to meet the Easter Bunny three times, which he absolutely loved. I will definitely be going back again soon.
  • Purina Farms is one of a multitude of FREE attractions Missouri and Saint Louis have to offer. Reservations are recommended as this place can become quite crowded, especially around Easter with all of the baby animals on display. Cow Milking, dog shows, interactive displays, petting areas, tractor rides and a gorgeous parcel of land make Purina Farms a top destination. Great for a date or to take the family. If you go during the week it's less crowded and you can always make a pit stop at Shaw's Nature Reserve right down the road for a small entry fee.
  • We brought my niece and nephew here when they were visiting from out of town. They loved it and loved the dog show. My only complaint is that there were a couple of places near where they let the kids pet the animals where it got so crowded that the kids would easily get lost. Cool place, just be prepared not to panic when you niece and nephew disappear in to the walls and go on their own adventure.
  • Visiting Purina Farms is always enjoyable. The dog show is fun to watch, especially when the dogs fetch toys out of the pool. The re is usually an event every weekend. Good place for children.
