  • The Holbrooke Hotel dates back to the California Gold rush era and looks like it. Have not stayed overnight but have eaten there and gone to the bar. Music (live weekend evenings
  • A step back at time with old pictures of the town and great old artifacts everywhere, beautiful of hotel to stay with a great staff.
  • Met some friends for drinks at 6pm. Good scene for that. But since closure of adjacent restaurant they offer dinner in the bar only. Not a great atmosphere for that. Saw a young couple get seated for ...  more »

  • My father has stayed here quite a few times, and it has always been wonderful. The bar is small, but right on the main drag in town.
  • We have been to the holbrooke a few times, very beautiful building. We recently attended a wedding reception and decided to eat before hand because they had a $20 taco bar available for purchase but that's a bit expensive in my opinion. Our time there overall was enjoyable.
  • Booked the"bridal suite" after my wedding. There was clearly a fresh coat of paint in the bathroom because the smell was almost nauseating. And I get that it's an old hotel, but no air conditioning? Also there was no curtain over the window by the bed so the apartments across the street can clearly see the bed.
  • Had my companies event here. Great history in this town and building. Great staff and service.
  • I went by the Holbrook because it is a pokestop and it was lured at the time. Great spot to play Pokemon go, met a hilarious drunk man.
