  • I actually enjoyed the message he gave however as a singer and someone who would want to join a church and be involved in worship, I must say it was not what I expected. Everyone on the worship team looked and dressed the same, they want the worship team to be young fresh and skinny, they don't welcome a different look whatsoever. They also had no choir so basically if you have the gift of music ministry you can't use it there if you don't look like what they want. Some of the guys have on pants tighter than the girls and that is a huge distraction, seemed more like a rock/pop concert than worship.
  • My family and I have been going to Fellowship for years, and people are right. This Church is different, Pastor Ed does not sugar coat ANYTHING. He puts it right in your face as the pure and simple truth. I have gone and I will be honest, the message offended and hurt me. Mainly because, it was right and I was wrong. Honestly I already knew I was wrong, I just didn't want to accept it. So yeah, people who do not want to stop doing what they know is wrong this is the place you really need to be at, it's not going to be comfy but their are people just like you who have been their and done that, and really do want to help you(minus the judgement, that's just not the style). We do have a choir and they come in all shapes and sizes, they pick their outfits and look spectacular, and why not? I think they look and sound amazing regardless of what they choose to wear. So what if they look awesome? I hear Angels put models to shame (nothing against models, I know the work you guys put in, that's a rough field, keep it up! :-) Long story short: I know this place, I know these people and I love them all, ESPECIALLY when they care enough to call me out. I'd rather face my penalty on Earth then wait until it is too late.
  • You know, as a Christian and being raised with the church I expected a lot more. I am from Houston Texas and new to the city. I had came and checked it out for my 1 year old son before bringing him and I was so excited. I walk to the doors and I get stopped in my tracks (mind you holding my child). I was told I couldn't take him in with me and it just made me so upset. Made me question church in general. I went to Lakewood with Joel Osteen and it was wonderful there. Now I have to go on another search for a decent church in this area. I'm extremely disappointed. It's common courtesy to walk out with your baby IF they start to fuss. But my son has been great since day 1 in church. Beyond embarrassing. It's honestly sad how Christian people are the most judgemental. Change your ways. We're all God's children.
  • Always welcoming. Amazing student and kids program. From elementary to The Mix on Wednesday nights for 6th-12th grade. Ed keeps the sermons interesting and understandable. You never know what will happen on stage. The creative team does amazing work each Sunday and keeps you engaged. Been attending for 12yrs and my kid has been attending for 11yrs. She loves it and has always enjoyed attending. And the summer kids/student camps are beyond amazing!
  • The pastor is awesome but getting around in this church is very difficult. You can't sit where you would like, you get ordered around by the ushers and unfortunately it made me not want to visit again.
