  • I played the .25 cent one arm bandit and hit for $100+ and I only spend $5.00. I was excited so I played a little more and hit a little over $20.00. I did exhaust the $25.00 they gave me and spend abo...  read more »

  • Wow !!!!! Now this casino. Is great. They make you feel like your at home. Love it there. I will be going back soon. Wow was just there on Friday night. Had a great time. And yes I did win . all I can say is WOW WOW WOW.
  • I was playing 1-2 no limit at Hollywood Casino at Penn National on Saturday during the high hand promotion. It was the final hour of the promotion and the prize was $1000. With just a few seconds left on the clock, I tabled a straight flush, which was the highest hand of the hour. The clock on the wall was five seconds away from zero, and my entire table, including the dealer, saw that the clock had not reached zero. To my disbelief, the floor came over and told me that since the high hand was not verified before the end of the hour, that they would not be paying me anything at all. I was shocked and really felt cheated. I feel that I earned the high hand promotion, but ended up going home empty-handed. I followed up with Bill Diaber (shift manager) at the casino today. He reviewed my complaint and claims that the hand ended at 4 seconds past 10:00 PM. This is incorrect, obviously. He did apologize and offered me a steak dinner as compensation. This is not even close to the $1000 I lost out on, as especially worthless to me, as I live 120 miles away.
  • This is the best casino around PA the services for drinks need to be faster than 30 mins but other than that cant wait to bring my daughter there on August 20th for her 21st birthday and her dads 52nd birthday
  • Hollywood casino's are some of the swankiest. This one is no exception. Its styled after of the heyday of Hollywood glitz and glamour. It feels as though your shooting craps with Marilyn Monroe or drinking with the rat pack when your here. I recommend this casino for anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway.
  • Scam artists. Place stank of dirty ashtrays and cigarette/cigar smoke. Most people sitting at slot machines were facing away from the machines or talking, which means that nobody was winning anything. All 6 people in our party lost everything they brought with them in less than an hour. Machines will spin over 100 times without 3 matching symbols ever appearing. What are the probabilities of that occurring if the machines aren't rigged? I get that it's gambling, but who wants to keep depositing money and not getting 3 symbols that match on any machine you walk up to? When they finally do pay out, it's a lousy 10 coin hit. Nothing but thieves.
