  • I stopped to check out the old stone bridge on old route 40. I have visited a few of the old S bridges along rt 40 while traveling. I enjoyed my visit to the area and the bridge had my lunch and then ...  more »
  • Stopped here because of the beautiful stone bridge. Historic marker explained the history. Bathroom facilities and picnic tables for a nice place to stop for some lunch.  more »
  • We walked to the bridge and read about it on the plaque. It has picnic tables for those who bring their own food. Its close to the Spruce Village.  more »

  • If you enjoy seeing historic buildings and other structures this is a fun place to visit. The bridge is one of the oldest large stone arch bridges left in the country. It is amazing to think about how such a large stone structure was built so long ago without all our modern equipment.
  • Great place to see artisans & their crafts
  • Quaint little area with a lot of history. The bridge leads you to a fabulous artisan village. A must see.
  • A beautiful place to stop and just take in the beauty of a fall morning. Peaceful and unexpected; I happened upon it by accident after a stay at Casselman's Inn while traveling backroads on my way to Philly for a funeral. Will go back and explore the area when I have more time. Lovely place.
  • Very small but great for a quick stop
