  • This is the best place in Grand Teton. Early in the morning on, happens to be the weather well, sky, mountain, forest, Lake and could enjoy great color contrast. This is the beauty of street photography.

  • We chose the rear part of the Schwabacher landing for the sunrise. During the journey, joy came on pur. The weather was. There were a few fleecy clouds and the surface of the water was as smooth as glass. What more could you want natural friend. This place is no secret. This part of the Schwabacher landing is IDEALLY suited for the absolute top shots from the sunrise. An increase is hard to imagine!

  • I had to really beg my husband to take me to Schwabacher Landing because it was on a not-so-great gravel road--not a great idea in a low sports car! But, it was so worth it!! The views of the Tetons f...  more »

  • Great place for a scenic hike, or to watch some critters. Saw lots of ground squirrels, ducks, and an osprey while we were walking around.
  • One of the best place in the park. Calm.
  • Amazing. I have never seen such kind of beautiful landscape.
  • This is a great place to get away from the traffic. As of Sept 2014 the turn off has been paved past the downhill curves but the remainder is still gravel and no problem for cars. Park at the first area and take a walk along the stream. Path is open and next to the stream, crossing many trees downed by Beaver some time ago. It will appear as if you are in wilderness alone while only a few feet from you car. No traffic noise and no people when I have been there. Take the camera and take lunch. You will not be disappointed.
  • Nice place to see the river and mountain!
