This was actually our favorite stop and walk in 2 full days at the Tetons. So peaceful, so beautiful. Do it!  more »

We went here for sunset and even though a cloud blocked out the colors the view still blew us away! It's a short walk from the parking lot to the end of the trail but these shots are just on the path ...  more »

Dawn or dusk, take the secondary road down to the river, and get out your camera and binoculars. With luck you may see some large mammals, but smaller ones and birds are around.  more »

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! There is a reason why this is so famous for photographers! It's a serene place! Just remember to keep mosquito repellent handy if you are going there in the evening. You will see some amazing wildlife here as well.

Best photo spot for Grand Teton sunrise. Make sure you get there 20-30 mins before sunrise. Walk towards the right to find the beaver dam. You will find a perfect reflection of the Grand Teton.

It might sound ridiculous but make the extra effort to be here 20 no utes before sunrise At least. Get out of your car or At least roll down your Windows. Depending I. The season you'll hear the elk bugle or the weasels playing and chirping at one another. Then when the sun peaks up the mountains will turn the most beautiful shades of pink and purple.

Great place for a scenic hike, or to watch some critters. Saw lots of ground squirrels, ducks, and an osprey while we were walking around.

This is a great place to get away from the traffic. As of Sept 2014 the turn off has been paved past the downhill curves but the remainder is still gravel and no problem for cars. Park at the first area and take a walk along the stream. Path is open and next to the stream, crossing many trees downed by Beaver some time ago. It will appear as if you are in wilderness alone while only a few feet from you car. No traffic noise and no people when I have been there. Take the camera and take lunch. You will not be disappointed.
