  • Circular route starts and ends for us at Moose junction. When you drive it against the clockwise direction, it goes up first the US-191 on the East side. After about two kilometres, the antelope right turns flats Rd which leads to the Mormon row, the famous and photogenic barns of the Mormon Church. On the journey, there are several points of view on the countryside. Especially worthwhile junction on the left is a stroll to Schwabacher landing 6.5 km of the Moose, where birds and with luck Beaver and Moose can be observed. At Moran junction, turns the 29 km long part of US 191 to the left and passes the Oxbow bend turnout, where beautiful sunsets can be seen. Also bears to be seen there often. You have to watch the entire route on other wild animals such as deer or bison. The latter are often in large herds. After 8 km, the loop branches off to the left. Straight, one would come to Yellowstone National Park. This junction is called "Jackson Lake Junction" and leads in the Jackson Lake Dam on the Snake River, where during our visit a bear on the river the thirst, put out. Now follows the Jackson Lake, the largest lake in the National Park. The Tetons in the morning light in the Lake are reflected in fine weather. After the junction a path leads around 5 km sharp left at the signal mountain high, from where one has great views of the great landscape. The western portion of the loop is the "Teton Park Road". It offers views of the eponymous mountain range again. Approximately in the middle of this road they can exit right, to get through the forest to the idyllic Jenny Lake past. Then again, the Jenny Lake Visitor Center is located on the Teton Park Road. In any case, the 69 km are a good way to get an overview of the National Park and is absolutely recommended.
