  • Love a great presidential museum - and this is one. Beautiful location within walking distance of downtown. Love their treatment of the Watergate years and how Ford essentially sealed his fate for reelection by pardoning Nixon. But he knew it was what the country needed. Very selfless act by an underrated president. If you are walking around Grand Rapids visiting the many great breweries, this will be a good stop if you need a break.
  • Our first Presidential Museum visit! Extremely interesting and educational. There museum was remodeled two years ago and has many interactive exhibits. An enjoyable way to learn more about President Gerald Ford and history.
  • My 9 year old patriotic history buff loved this museum! It was education and interesting. Also loved the reasonable ticket prices.
  • Great remodel. It is much better than when I was a kid. Great for school and cub/boy scouts and history nerds like me.
  • I have been to many Presidential Libraries and Museums and this one is a real treat. The museum is well laid out and thorough. The grounds and gravesite are well maintained and respectful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The ticket/sales receptionist went out of her way to ensure a nice visit. The security guard even radioed another to keep open the gravesite open a few minutes late so we could pay our respects. Our baby had a great time throughout the museum this past Sunday too. The only thing missing is information on President Ford's Golden Retriever named Liberty! An oversight that can be easily addressed.
