  • Our group thoroughly enjoyed our first time at the track. Drinks were cold, betting on the ponies was fun and Susie was awesome .
  • We went on a Saturday night. This is a spacious racecourse with plenty of room and seating. Food/drinks are well catered for. Betting is easy enough. I pre-bought tickets online including valet parkin...  more »

  • Went to the bar and book. Food was good and the beer was only 2 bucks so that was good. Unfortunately the waitress sent me the wrong order and after waiting an hour for it I wasn't about to send it back, I was starving. Had to get up and go to the bar for my second beer. There where several wait staff but most were skewing off. Looks like they need better managment. Food was really good just not what I ordered. Hope they get thier act together soon!!!!!
  • Family friendly and fun! We always enjoy and day or evening watching the ponies run! The kids like to run around while the hubs and I place small bets and try our luck! The track and surrounding areas are clean and well maintained, and it's a great destination for people watching.
  • My experience was horrible. Ive been a horse player for 20 years. I have a tvg account and consider horse racing and gambling as a passion and hobby. Ive been to Lone Star Park 10 years ago and was excited to revisit. The main bartender was so mean and when I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to someone above her and she didnt make an attempt to call anybody. I was so angered my friend and i didnt order any drinks or eat. I felt they didnt care about me as a customer and Ive been to less caliber tracks and was treated better.
  • I've been to Oaklawn Fairgrounds Louisiana Downs and they all need upgrades all my gosh Lonestar Park makes them look primitive with all the beautiful upgrades wonderful seating great environment I must check out again if I can give him more than five stars I would the staff all nice and courteous always willing to help
  • Raise the entrance price to 20$ a a person for kids and adults PLEASE! This for me was godawful. Its like traders village/cinco de mayo with a horse track. The music was way too loud (not even in english) you couldn't even hear the annoucer announce the horses. Kids just running a muck. Bar and book food service was great food tho was not. Had a burger that was burnt cardboard on outside and still red inside but was less than 1/4inch thick how do you do that. Horrible.
