  • We visited October 22, 2016 which clearly is off season. It was perfect to just walk around and enjoy the scenery and the duck hunters. Although I almost soiled my pants on the first blast from a near...  more »

  • Nice park! Swimming, waking, biking, picnicking, whatever you like. The water isn't the cleanest but at least it's not pollution, just lots of seaweed/algae. There's playgrounds and swing sets too.
  • Used to love this beach. Great family place. Glad to see the cleanliness improving. Last 2 times I have visited with children there have been several topless woman running in and around the beach and boardwalk and men taking pictures while they pose for multiple photo shoots. I feel like there is adult film making taking place. Families should not have to be exposed to this. Apparently it's in the Beaver Island handbook that's it's okay to be topless. Maybe so but not in that manner. Several families felt uncomfortable and left. Life guards advised thr families to move down the beach. We just moved back to our cars. No thanks!
  • This is our favorite hiking place. Lots of different trails thru the woods and the beach! Magnus loves it here.
  • One of the best parks I have ever been to! Frisbee golf and crystal clear water! Wow!
  • We went there for a wedding, the food was inedible. The strip steak was cooked to the point of hamburger and the potatoes and chicken was cold and shriveled. And we were served first. The bar was closed an hour earlier than it was supposed to and despite the 90 degree weather, an outdoor dance floor and a cleared banquet room water was no where to be found. So disappointed in a beautiful venue.
