  • Several buildings to go through. The blacksmith was very entertaining. Also the historical dig was interesting to see. Good place to have a picnic if it is a beautiful day.
  • The blacksmith was funny and actually stayed a bit after 5 to demo ..just a awesome and informative demo and an enjoyable experience. .ty!
  • They take a lot of pride in this place..... always very tidy and clean.... the people are super nice
  • Great place to stop. The tour was excellent and the tour guide Mary was the best. The blacksmith shop was the highlight of visit. We had Rick the blacksmith make us some screen door handles to take home. They need a directional arrow on the highway signs. Passed the location twice.
  • Came upon this historic site on our way to Dixon Illinois. Well worth the stop! Excellent guides. Stayed an hour to look at all the sites. Rick the blacksmith is a master. Very enjoyable demonstration!
