  • Great tour guide. Well restored house. Very interesting
  • If you're interested in 19th century American history, cowboys and trail drives or frontier history, you need to read about this man Charles Goodnight. He and his wife are credited with saving the American Bison from extinction. He is also credited with inventing the chuck wagon. His cattle drives with Oliver Loving provided at least some of the inspiration for the story Lonesome Dove. This museum was his last house.
  • I love history!
  • Fun outing
  • Fabulous tour. Beautiful home. Legendary Texans.
