  • Who would of thought we would of found fresh backed gluten free cookies in this out of the way general store. Loved the lady behind the counter. Every time the door slammed we all laughed as its quiet...  read more »

  • The Good Hart General Store is a very cute and old store. The original red building remind you of yester years and the Tunnel of Trees is beautiful on your way up to Good Hart. The cherry pie is to di...  read more »
  • Stopped here for the first time this past weekend. I bought a sweatshirt, pot pies, and the whitefish pate. I loved every item I bought. The whitefish pate is simply amazing and is made on site (the pot pies are too!). This is not your typical touristy shop, it is so much more than that. They have just about anything you need for an enjoyable visit to Good Hart. Will definitely make my way back here.
  • Stopped there today to rest on my motorcycle ride and the store smells awesome from the baked goods. You have to try the chocolate chip/peanut butter/sea salt cookie. Very good. I was in Mackinaw before I tried it. I would ride there again just for the cookie. ;)
  • One of my favorite places in the Great Up North. A step back in time with just about anything you'd need on your travels. Must haves: the pot pies (both varieties), the buffalo chicken wrap, an M119 t-shirt and some cookies for the road. They leave you smiling.
  • Great little store with refreshments, a post office, and knick knacky stuff for tourists. Very friendly people and if you find yourself on the tunnel of trees and a bit parched. Stop in and have one of Boylan's Black Cherry sodas.
  • Loved meeting Jim and other friendly employees. The Lord Jesus gave me a sermon about the way the Holy Spirit works after this experience of stopping here! I wonder if the store was here when Venerable bishop Baraga was founding the nearby st. Ignatius Catholic church?
