A few quirky shops to visit and learn about life in the once populous city in Nevada. Attention: the Sheriff is a hot dog and watch very adhere to the speed. He may be lurking behind every corner. We have received this information in Beatty (NV), when we asked for directions. Yes - the Sheriff chased us, but we have kept to the recommendation. So who visited Goldfield, must comply with the speed (25 mph or 20 mph).show original

This is one of my favorite place. Reminds me of Wild West movies. Will check this place again in winter. People still live there so be respectful. Also watch out for the hares and quails. Drive as slow as you can so you don't stir dust.
It was very nostalgic with retro vehicles everywhere you go. But it was quite confusing as most of the abandoned houses were actually habitat by people.
Because an old friend owns the place. .. And the memory of my visit still lingers with me. ... Walt, you're the best !
Gold Point, NV is a magical, historical, and stunning locale that brings you back to the old west like no other place.
Pretty awesome little historic town
