  • Check-in was done easily at Lodge for Standard cabin #17, pet friendly. Registration staff were friendly. Cabin is spacious enough for 2-4 people. Kitchen had mostly adequate supplies. Closets but no ...  more »
  • If you love nature and seclusion, then Burr Oak State park is the place for you. You can boat, hike, swim, or stay in a campsite, cabin, or the Burr Oak lodge. Allow plenty of time for the drive from ...  more »
  • Great place good service. Food was great, drinks a bit pricey. If you go in the offseason, the boat rentals were easy, had the whole lake to ourselves. Would go again for a quiet getaway.

  • Recently stayed at the campground...overall a very good experience. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean, although the stalls are small. There is a small store on site for a few supplies, but you are a good 15 minute drive to the nearest gas station. The only negative is that several of the tent campsites are on a pretty moderate slope. But overall a nice quiet clean campground.
  • Beautiful and relaxing. Great hiking and place to visit!
  • Clean, quiet and secluded park. The camping situation is a bit odd, you have to drive around the lake quite a ways to get to the the campsites if you are at the lodge. I ended up camping in the nearby National Forest instead. The new disc golf course was still under construction when I was there in 2015 but it was a good course even unfinished.
  • Beautiful setting near Wayne National Forest. Great park, with fun activities (swimming, hiking, etc.), and nice facilities in the lodge (lodge rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, etc.) and cabins. Great family get away spot.
  • Less crowded, Lots of clean camping sites . Nice lake and boating. Good trails. Had a nice time with family and friends
