  • Great place good service. Food was great, drinks a bit pricey. If you go in the offseason, the boat rentals were easy, had the whole lake to ourselves. Would go again for a quiet getaway.
  • I finally made it back here to circumnavigate the lake after staying in the main campground and lodge over 25 years ago. I had always wanted to do this and now I can check this off my list. I did this...  read more »
  • We go hiking a lot and very much enjoyed hiking at Burr Oak. We did the Backpack Trail and part of the Buckeye Trail...just beautiful...enjoyed!!!
  • Recently stayed at the campground...overall a very good experience. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean, although the stalls are small. There is a small store on site for a few supplies, but you are a good 15 minute drive to the nearest gas station. The only negative is that several of the tent campsites are on a pretty moderate slope. But overall a nice quiet clean campground.
  • We have stayed in the lodge 4x and just love it. It's beautiful to walk around and we love being down by the dock. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We normally extend our stay a day or two as everyone has such a good time.
  • Clean, quiet and secluded park. The camping situation is a bit odd, you have to drive around the lake quite a ways to get to the the campsites if you are at the lodge. I ended up camping in the nearby National Forest instead. The new disc golf course was still under construction when I was there in 2015 but it was a good course even unfinished.
  • Beautiful setting near Wayne National Forest. Great park, with fun activities (swimming, hiking, etc.), and nice facilities in the lodge (lodge rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, etc.) and cabins. Great family get away spot.
  • This is just a wonderful place. We spent a lot of time at the lake. We came and camped for the weekend, swam, rented a pontoon... everyone was super friendly. We had the most relaxing weekend.
