  • Besh Ba Gowah ruins are in Globe. Nice museum and film explaining the people and the history of the ruins preservation. Then walk around the ruins on self-guided tour.

  • Stopped here for a visit to the ruins. Fun little day trip. Cute little museum giving examples of the pottery, beads and arrowheads found at the site. Short presentation explaining the area gave a nice overview of the place and its importance. Practically had the whole place to ourselves! Many small cafes and antique shops nearby, but call the places you are interested in, hours are very unreliable.
  • Be sure to watch the 12 minute video before going. Lots of good information. You are able to walk through the Pueblo on a self guided tour when you are done.
  • Fascinating place. The museum is filled with artifacts. There were types of pottery I had never seen before. You can walk around the ruins and gardens. There is also an informative video to watch. It is a great hidden gem near downtown Globe. Easy and fun day trip from Phoenix.
  • Between the museum, gift shop, ruins and botanical gardens, there is a lot to see here. I suggest alotting 1 to 2 hours for your visit if you want to see all of it.
  • Great little museum showcasing historical indigenous culture. The plants/garden around the ruins are pretty impressive also. Gift shop has a good selection of books and local products.
