The world’s largest hot springs pool, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, has been a haven for spa-goers in the Rockies for over a century. The grounds’ sandstone bathhouse has been completely renovated with the Western spirit of the Rockies in mind to promote serenity between visitors and their natural surroundings. If you are craving some physical activity, you can swim laps in the deep end or hit the diving board. If you prefer to relax, simply sit back in the soothing minerals of the site's therapy pool, which is constantly kept at approximately 40 C (104 F). You can also stay at the spa's 107-room lodge, which offers mini golf and a childrens pool, in additional to its all-natural healing pools. We got there a little before 5 pm and the grill, which was supposed to be open was already closed. The water slide feature and the kids area closed at 6:00 pm but this info was not posted outside...

Too expensive for what you get. To say this is overpriced is an understatement. There use to be a discount rate for the last hour. That was reasonable. I won't be back to spend my money in Glenwood...

This is a nice hot springs pool. I went here while I was at Glenwood Springs and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into the hot springs building, where I paid the entrance fee. I went up to the changing room and changed into the swim suit. I put my clothes in one of the lockers in the changing room, and the room was pretty clean. I went out to the hot springs pool, which was very large, and found a nice pool chair by it. I put down my stuff on the pool chair and went into the pool. The pool was a normal pool temperature, which felt very nice compared to how cold it was outside the pool (it was only forty degrees Fahrenheit outside). After I spent a long time swimming around and relaxing in the pool, I got out and left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this hot springs pool five stars because it’s very large and is nice and warm.
What a great way to relax and spend time with the family. We spent a good chunk of our day enjoying the pool. Towels are $4.00 to rent. So if you want to save that money, make sure to bring your own towel. We forgot ours and just bought one in the gift shop because it was the same price as renting 3 towels. Not a complaint, just a tip. Hope you have a great time!
We decided to rent a Cabana from 3-8pm. There were 2 lounge chairs outside the cabana. We were unable to move them outta the sun as they had them cabled to the ground. Inside the Cabana they had some nice patio type furnaces and a refrigerator; however, the refrigerator was not plugged in which left the bottles of water (that was included in the cost) warm. No where on the website did it mention that there would be no wait staff service to the Cabana’s. We ended up calling from the Cabana to find this out. Just an hour into our time at the pool there was an announcement stating they were closing the snack area at 5:00pm. The pool is open till 9:00pm. Why would you stop food service that early? To top off our time at the pool, we witnessed a lady leaving the hot pool and blood was pouring out of her swim suite. Being a female I understand to a point, but this was beyond a small mishap. From a far we could clearly see the amount of blood draining from this ladies swim suite. We made a complaint but nothing was ever done. So our complaints are: 1. You spent extra money on a cabana but you still have to pay another $30/per person to get into the pool. 2. No service at the Cabana but still had to pay full price. 3. Couldn’t move the chair and the refrigerator didn’t work. 4. Early closure of the snack area. 5. No one seemed to care about the lady bleeding Heavily into the pool. Last but not least. As much money as this pool brings in, maybe they should try some upkeep to the bigger pools. They look the same as when I cam 10 years ago. What has been updated, it’s open for use.
The biggest hot spring pool in the world! Definitely recommend going to this Glenwood Springs staple. They have the big pool and the hot HOT pool. They have a great little gift shop with a lot of great name brands. The grill gives pretty good portions for a great price. Also they got a DIVING BOARD! This place is awesome, two thumbs way up. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Beautiful view of the mountains from inside the hot spring. The water was nice and hot and everything was clean. The bathrooms were huge and they have water fountains and showers as well which was really nice. We stayed in the no name park and ride overnight which was only 8 minutes away. This was a really enjoyable soak in the am after camping in the car! For $22/ person this was definitely worth it.
