Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, Glenwood Springs

(4.2/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
The world’s largest hot springs pool, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, has been a haven for spa-goers in the Rockies for over a century. The grounds’ sandstone bathhouse has been completely renovated with the Western spirit of the Rockies in mind to promote serenity between visitors and their natural surroundings. If you are craving some physical activity, you can swim laps in the deep end or hit the diving board. If you prefer to relax, simply sit back in the soothing minerals of the site's therapy pool, which is constantly kept at approximately 40 C (104 F). You can also stay at the spa's 107-room lodge, which offers mini golf and a childrens pool, in additional to its all-natural healing pools. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Glenwood Springs holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • I've been going to these hotsprings since I was a child. Prior to Iron Mountain opening, it was more crowded, but it has returned to being a place of respite. We much prefer Glenwood Hotsprings to Iro...  more »
  • The Hot Springs are a great place to spend the day and chill out. It was wonderful to relax in the hot springs a day after skiing! It's well worth the money for this unusual experience!
  • You have to hit the hot springs if you visit Glenwood springs. There are 3 different pools with different temperatures. We had a nice time just chilling in them, it was nice after a bike ride and hike...  more »

  • Love this pool! I'm completely biased in my love for this place as I've been coming here since I was a baby. It's a great place for relaxing in either of the pools. The "hot" pool is divine and it's the perfect antidote to exiting the pool area on a chilly day or evening! The Sport Shop is also a great place to pick up forgotten items...Joan and Lynne helped us find everything we were missing!
  • Wonderful and relaxing pool! I heard it's packed in the summer months but there was plenty of open chairs and freedom to move, swim, sit and relax in both pools all day! Stayed at the lodge and enjoyed the pool during day and night hours over 3 days, Mon-Wed. Great experience. Great place to celebrate a 30th birthday!
  • This an absolute must, on a snowy winter day. It's a great break for the Mountain top. Water Temperatures vary from the hot spring end to the end with the slide. Don't worry about stepping outside on a cold day, it will be worth the dip. When you get out and dry off you will enjoy the walk back to the locker room. I think the entry fee is still good for the day, so you can get a morning swim in take a break and come back after lunch to relax in the warmth.
  • This is a MUST visit while in Glenwood. I have been coming here for over 30 years and still love it. Natural springs feed the pools and the water is cleansing and healing. There is a hot pool and a warm pool. Beautiful view and I especially like relaxing in the water in a light rain or snow. Water slides for kids and near some wonderful restaurants and miniature golf. Highly recommended!
  • My 8 years old really liked the place due to jumping board and slides. Slides were not cheap and I just bought him 4 slides for $8 extra to the main ticket. Area had 2 pools, one was about 96F and another 104F which was too hot for summer mid day when we stopped there. Parking is not easy to find and we were lost with Google directions to the place so research the map before going. Food was way overpriced but ice cream decently priced. I was only in one other hot springs (in Steamboat Rose springs) which was much nicer but it was well out of the way so no comparison.
