The world’s largest hot springs pool, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, has been a haven for spa-goers in the Rockies for over a century. The grounds’ sandstone bathhouse has been completely renovated with the Western spirit of the Rockies in mind to promote serenity between visitors and their natural surroundings. If you are craving some physical activity, you can swim laps in the deep end or hit the diving board. If you prefer to relax, simply sit back in the soothing minerals of the site's therapy pool, which is constantly kept at approximately 40 C (104 F). You can also stay at the spa's 107-room lodge, which offers mini golf and a childrens pool, in additional to its all-natural healing pools. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Glenwood Springs holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • We come here every year for our anniversary in October. It's not as crowded as the summer and it's a great place for couples and families. We look forward to coming back every year!
  • This has been a family tradition that I did when I was young and that I love sharing now with my young family. The pool is always SO fun no matter day/night or weather.
  • Wonderful place to relax and get away. Don't worry about having a belly. I did but no one cares. There for one reason and that is to relax
  • I cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful and well maintained pool,, sport shop and the very clean locker rooms. Steve, the pool manager, is truly an advocate of good customer service. All summer I have enjoyed the use of this unique facility. As a member I appreciate a great place to escape and swim. Always fun and a great chance to meet new people! Patty Hackman Eagle Vail
  • We've been here several times and we always have a wonderful time! The water is amazing and it's so cool to be able to bring float toys! The kids loved the water slides (I didn't go on them). It's pretty at night. Parking is a challenge, but that's true of most mountain towns anyway.
  • This is a MUST visit while in Glenwood. I have been coming here for over 30 years and still love it. Natural springs feed the pools and the water is cleansing and healing. There is a hot pool and a warm pool. Beautiful view and I especially like relaxing in the water in a light rain or snow. Water slides for kids and near some wonderful restaurants and miniature golf. Highly recommended!
  • This is a very special place with swimming lanes and 2 hot sulphur springs pools. There is a good quick food restaurant. The gift shop has an excellent selection of swim suits. Above the pools is the hotel where President Roosevelt stayed on his visit. I always go for a soak & lap swimming when I am in the area. Towels are available for rent & of course there are lockers. There is a bus to Aspen which is about a hour away. It is a beautiful train ride to Denver and the station is across the river which is an easy walk.
  • Love coming here. It's got a huge main pool. Seriously large enough to lose your friends in. Large enough to get your own little area to play in, even on the busiest days. Lots of lockers if you'd like, multiple swimming lanes, a diving board, small food shop, two slides (though I don't exactly recommend them since they cost money to go on, I'm here to relax), unexpectedly large hot tub that is very relaxing. Also has a kiddy pool for the littlest ones. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a day with the family or as a couple.
