  • I have toured many cemeteries and have not seen one as visited as this one in and in this poor of shape. There were probably 20+ people visiting the day I went and the graves are all over grown with w...  read more »
  • As fans of Doc and the Earps, we enjoyed seeing this memorial. The walk is uphill to the cemetery, but is not very long. We had been to Tombstone and read some books on that history, but if you're not...  read more »
  • The steep hike up the cemetary is well worth it for the view and for the history "laid out" in the cemetery. There were a quite a few folks up there and we all took turns taking photos of each other.
  • We stayed in Glenwood Springs last week and were walking our dog at dusk when we came across the path to the old pioneer cemetary. It was a really well tended path, about 1/4 mile long and we got there with just enough light to find Doc Holiday's grave. Just the right about of history and creepiness - didn't stay long as it was getting dark. I recommend this out of the way site as there was also a great view of the town from the path.
  • "I'm your huckleberry". Cool cemetery be prepared for a uphill trek. It was a short hike but could be fairly strenuous if not in shape. Don't try it in anything but good shoes.
  • It was a cold rainy day i only made it half way up before slipping and sliding it's quite a hike up hill not for the senior crowd unless in good shape I'm sorry I couldn't make it all the way up tho ...
  • Fun seeing and reading about Doc Holladay. Nice little hike for kids
  • Awesome quick hike - the entire family enjoyed it. I do wish dog walkers would clean up after their puppies - had to navigate the 4 year old around the piles.
