  • So I'm in town briefly for school at Fort Stewart. I went here for something unique to do to kill a few hours and take a small drive. The grounds are well maintained with a lake on the property and th...  more »

  • Lovely people and interesting wines. A bit too sweet for my taste, but the grapes down here are perfect for the type of wine they make and they are very popular with the locals.  more »

  • Wow. This vineyard will give you an experience you won't soon forget. If you are looking for a wine tasting event that lets you experience all that a vintner has to offer, skip this winery. You won't get a pallet cleanser between wines. The red wines are all chilled to a frosty 38 degrees. To top it off, by the last glass you aren't sure what you are tasting because your glass is never rinsed between wines. If you want to experience a taste of southern coastal Georgia culture and a truly unique telling of biblical wine mythology this is the place for you. Don't expect to leave this small vineyard without a new look on Noah, the great flood, and how that relates to wine. As an atheist this was a real treasure to experience and in NO way made me want to flee to the tree line. Your dining experience will come complete with canine companions and southern timing. The owners are a unique couple who have been guided by God to build a winery in the middle of nowhere GA. Charles is a gruff man with a passion for his craft while his wife embodies what you would expect of a classic southern woman. All in all the winery is fantastic. The wine isn't the best. The grape juice they make is amazing. The food was yummy. But the best part is the whole experience that had me rolling with laughter and appreciation for this little slice of Georgia.
  • Everything about this place is great! The owners are welcoming and obviously love what they do. Mr. Charles provides a nice tasting experience of their wines and Mrs. Deborah does amazing things in the kitchen for their lunch options. The homemade pimento cheese is delicious! I highly recommend this place for any occasion for good wine in a nice, relaxing atmosphere.
  • We love Watermelon Creek Vineyard. The wines are crisp, sweet and delicious. The food is outstanding and the owners/employees made us feel like family! I can't wait to go back and enjoy the wine, food, views and the stories! Such a unique place. Add it to your list of places to check. You will not regret it!!!
  • Awesome place! Very unique and one of a kind establishmemt!
  • Five star service with a family feel. Watermelon Creek Vineyard is that well hidden stop on a day trip in Southeast Georgia. Especially on Saturdays when you can enjoy a lunch plate for less than $10, sample the muscadine wines, and kick back and relax in a country setting overlooking the vineyard or pond. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
